(Miami Time) Where it all began.... After a three hour flight who wouldn't want to visit the mecca of all tourist attraction in South Beach Miami. WET WILLIE'S. Home of the Call me a cab and Attitude adjustment. Below we have them both swirled into that awesome cup where you see how cold it stays!!.

Just look at the frost on that cup golly was it good. And not to mention strong but not overwhelmingly sweet nor alcoholic. Great drink to break into the weekend.

Along with the drink we were starving so we decided to see what this place had to offer in terms of food. Here was my friends chicken sandwich the Drunken chicken sandwich. It was good and the fries were awesome. Didn't really understand the drunken part but hey he enjoyed it.

I had this awesome Quesadilla, it was not your average quesadilla. This one had black beans (not sure how I remembered what I had) But it was awesome and I wish I had more.

Here was another sandwich another person had and I almost stole it from her. It was "citrusy" and flavorful and oh so yummy. It hit all the spots sour, bitter, sweet, and salty all at the same time. Even though the decorum did not fit the bill the food packed a punch!.

I'd highly suggest a place that was recommended onto me to everyone who loves to both eat and drink for less with more.

If your in town I demand you to visit there first or you wont enjoy the reason why your their in the first place!!!

I love romance and food put together. It's a marriage of harmony that fits well together.

When ever I go out with this friend it's almost always an Italian place. The ambiance was wonderful and the waiter was excellent. Only problem was I didn't dress well for the part...

Here we have what I ordered even though I wanted everything this was so good. It was chicken Parmesan. Al thought this picture does not justify how well prepared that slap of meat was I will assure you that my tongue was dancing !!! The fresh mozzarella cheese, the fresh bread crumbs and the harmony of the marinara sauce. OMG I needed bread or something to soak it all in. We shared a side of vegetables although I would have taken anything starchy!

He had the salmon with a white wine butter reduction and the light coming from his face said it all. I really wanted to try it but the flavors from my dish would have blocked my palate from seeking the excitement he was experiencing. The capers, I was told added a lot to the dish even though he was not fond of actually ingesting them.

Here is a plate of the veggies we shared. Some were steamed with garlic others were baked and had an awesome crunch to it.

I was full but he insisted I get desert so he ordered me Tres Leche. It was okay. I had it bagged up and was going to give it to my brother. It was good but I guess I was just too full from that slab of meat in the previous caption.

I highly recommend coming here for any special occasion. The staff are wonderful The food is great and the ambiance is perfect for any mood.

Hello everyone, Food and I just work well together..but not this night!

I love food.. I Love Lobster.. Here we have Lobster fritters and they taste really good and the sauce was nice and light. But it was kind of spicy, needed two glasses of water! Other wise it was good

Below is what my friend had which was Cajun Shrimp. I didn't try it because it looked spicy as hell! But they enjoyed it so I guess it was good to them

The main reason to come here was to try the Rasta Pasta. In all honesty I've had it before elsewhere I just wanted to tickle my fancy and see what the big fuss was about. Here was what my friend had. Stew chicken paired with Rasta Pasta. She was okay with it. Didn't get a reaction that I thought I would.

My other friend had Salmon paired with the pasta as well. It was seasons perfectly. First salmon I ever had that tasted so good aside from my normal to go (Salmon Teriyaki) This is a new FAVE on my list!!!

And Alas we have what I ordered.. the Oxtail with the Rasta Pasta. I was okay with it. Not really seeing what the fuss was about. From my understanding my combination of flavors were not suppose to be paired with one another but it worked well. However after a while i had to eat one or the other followed by water.

I didn't like the price for most of the food due to the fact that it was located in Brooklyn and not in the best part of the borough and the wait to for the food was out of this world. almost 3 hours to be seated. The waiter did try his best to accommodate us but he got most of the orders wrong.

We should have paid attention to the amount of people just ordering take out verses the amout waiting to be seated! But all in all it was a good experience with friends as always and if your into spending more than what the quality of food is worth then by all means head down there!!! but get there before the crowd hits!

I love cooking and sharing my passion for food with others. This weekend I gathered a few close friends and shared a few meals that I thought they would enjoy.

Here we have scalloped sweet potatoes with fresh asiago cheese and thyme(from my garden)
This dish was a hit. It had layer upon layer of flavors. My friend who hates onions loved this dish (he did pick out the ones he spotted)

Here we have Butternut Squash Mac and cheese. The combo went so well that kids loved it!!! I mixed in half and half with a pack of frozen butternut squash.. made the rue first of course and mixed in fresh cheddar cheese. I loved this dish and it's 50/50 healthy and fattening..best of both worlds!!

Below we have my beef stew. There was a lot of love put into this as it was the most thought out dish of all. It took 6 hours to stew in the slow cooker, before that I browned all the meat in a skillet with fresh garlic, butter and canola oil. Then with the pan dripping added a bit of red wine, carrots, Worcestershire sauce, salt pepper and a few extra things. Dumped it all into the slow cooker and had it rock out. Of course I taste tested every half hour just to make sure it was coming along well!

Everyone enjoyed every last bit of every dish. I will be doing this again.. This time I will make more food because seconds was not an option for some :(

Happy Eating all!
