It was flavorful, delicious and so welcoming

I will most lightly try and recreate this at home one day

Lobster Sliders

These were cool but It had more filler than Lobster and could have been better

I would highly recommend this place to any one who is in the area!

Wow What a great place to find and spot good food...and guess what! Complimentary WINE for an hour.... I'd say it's a gold Mine!

Here we have Truffle fries, they were okay...the aoli on the side was good, could have used a little bit more truffle though.

Buffalo Mozzarella
12
Sun dried tomatoes, basil, evoo
We really liked the pizza. Talk about a thin crust. We wish we ordered two of these because it was done within seconds.  This would have been a better option to double up on and not waste time on the next dish....

Thai Fried Shrimp
14
Sweet chili lime sauce
The Shrimp was cool... We didn't think that the price fit the dish.... It was well over priced and wasn't that much to share. Not sure if I I would get this again...

And the Complimentary Wine guys!!! Yes free wine from 5 pm-6 pm. They do a rotation of a red and a white during the week. Great way to Sample a new wine a week I'd say. Inside of a snazzy hotel, I bet the rooms are as amazing as the lobby is. I would Love to go back and just watch the fire place and a have a few wines along with it.

I would recommend this place and have people try their dishes. i', not sure how the Lunch is set up... I might go in on a pay day to see what my Dollar can get me.... Till next time... Stay snazzy!

Ludlow,

One of my fave places to frequent on the island.

Special Pizza of the week...what can i say all their Pizzas are delicious here.... they never repeat so that's a douzy but you will never go wrong with what they come up with.

This was a shrimp with spinach, cheese and goodness all smacked into a thin crust pizza.

Special Red Snapper on a bed of risotto

I died and went to heaven.... I need the chef to come and cook for me every day!!
So creamy and light, fresh and warming...this is what you call comfort food.

Go there if i bet you a great time and good food while your at it!!!

Lunch at Beer Authority just got better!!! They now have a lunch special where you can get a burger, sandwich and at the fixing and a drink for only $10, Now I don't eat meat so here's what I had!!

This delicious grandma personal pizza was only $12. I really really loved the real fresh taste I got when I tried it for lunch. I could not finish this massive amount of food but I did bring it home and enjoyed it even more!! How's that possible right? Well it was freaking fresh that's why.

I also ordered, like the glutton that I am, a side of Mac and Cheese. not only Is this the BEST mac in cheese in the area... IT"S ONLY $5. When you get the entree it's a bit pricey for the amount you get but the side order is just the right amount of goodness to satisfy any cheese lovers craving!!!

I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for lunch or even happy hour! Great bartender and awesome food to enjoy.

P.S. The sandwich on the side was my friends,... forgot to ask if he liked, but he inhaled it faster then I could finish the bowl of mac so I guess that answered my question.....

Pit stops are made for the foodie at heart! On my field trip to bear mountain, we stopped and saw a cafe on the side of the road and pulled in for a quick bite. Best quick bite I ever had in my life!!!

This was a lobster pizza. It had fresh corn, cilantro, tomatoes and of course lobster. It was enough for me and my guy, but secretly i wanted another pie. I would definitely go back again if i'm in the area.

They are very friendly and warm to all their customers, a great pit stop in that part of New York!!!

Happy Hour with the Booski!!!

I've seen this [lace in passing but never knew how it would be like...

Happy hour consist of two for one Well drinks.. and it is imperative that they give you both at the same time... The drinks were pretty weak but what ever... it was cheap

My babe went with wine... Smart choice because the alcohol in there can't be tampered with!!! He liked it even though it was house wine... Does it matter?

All the appetizers that will follow will only cost $5 a pop..

BCH Famous Thai Calamari Bowl*
Sweet Peppers, Peanuts, Cilantro, Lime, Sweet Chili Glaze
Here is the Calamari. We really enjoyed this dish. I mean it was flavorful, and different for an American bar. It had a lot of Asian inspired flavors which you could never really go wrong with.

The wings.... the wings I would not really order again, just because the thought of spicy doesn't stick well with most people. They were not hot at all and for those who swear a little spice is much... they need to have at least try half of the dishes my mom makes!!!

Spinach & Artichoke Dip
Crispy Tortilla Chip
Spanish Artichoke dip...ummmmm yum yum yum. For only $5 this was all mines!!! Yes I ate every last chip and every square  inch of that dip was gone!! It had four cheeses which is not normal to most dips but it was delicious. I would go back for this again!!!

Fresh Mozzarella
Eggplant Caponata, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Aged Balsamic

This thing here.. Eh I could care less for. This was all for my boo. He enjoyed it I ... not so much. It was a mozzarella tomato bread concoction... It was blah to me at best...

Margarita Pizzette
Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Basil, Balsamic
The margarita pizza was amazing!! It had a drizzle of balsamic vinegar (very different) and small specs of basil. Each bite was really really good. All this carb over load... Surprise I'm not fat HAHAHAHA

Happy Hour ends at 7, which in most cases suck because of my commute from the city to these Long island spots. However, for the short time there we had a nice time. Live music, and great people at the bar. There are other spots in the area, and if I had to compare this to the other ones I've been to.. i'd say the extra half hour gives this place an edge...

P.S. We had a Irish car Bomb to help with lack of alcohol in the drinks... and the bartender hooked us up with a pretty decent shot!!

Till next time!!!

New Spot in Midtown!!!!

I'm usually up for a new spot in my area of work. New food gets me excited!!!

Before going to try this place I searched high and low for the menu and listed price per dish, but they were sneaky and didn't really have anything available unless you were there. had my lunch and thought he pricing for a lot of the dishes was a bit out of this world...

Here's an Ice tea with basil simple syrup. I really liked it. It was light and airy, what i really liked was that it was regular ice tea, and you get to choose which flavor syrup to add to your drink. Nice summer time drink for sure!!

The appetizer...

Avocado Pan Cotta

My cousin raved about this dish, so we ordered things she tried in order to see what I'd love to eat... I clearly have a different palette from hers. Although the dish was nice, I felt that the price for this was a bit over rated. yes it was light and airy, there was a layer of pan cotta, then avocado, then tomatoes. seriously... for $15 I'd like a little more salt, or pepper and something else to help balance the flavors of the three layers.

Not something I'd run back to get....

I was craving Margarita pizza all weekend, so I saw it on the menu and said to my self... well Hey.. this is an up and coming restaurant... why not try their Pizza!!! Well guys... I was highly upset and dissatisfied by the pizza. Although it was fresh, there was nothing special about it. It too needed some sort of salt or something....

Now for the Angry Lobster Bolognese. This is the dish she raved about... Told me that it was the best she's ever had blah blah blah... I Wish I read the reviews on yelp before listening to her. I liked that the dish ad a lot of lobster. That received and A+ with me... but the rest of the dish was okay. The pasta and the sauce weren't that remember-able. Thank god we shared the plate....

Where this place got great reviews was in it's customer service. Hands down the best customer service I've ever had in Midtown. Where they failed was the lack of salt in some dishes.

Would i go back.. Maybe, i loved the customer service, but the list pricing for the dishes have to go down to accommodate their quality of dishes.

If you don't believe my review to this restaurant, check out the other reviews in the links below... Till next time.

Fresh pizza made to order.

While doing laundry I walked into this pizza store and wanted a Margarita slice. There were none, so you could understand how annoyed I was.

Luckily I had a sad enough face for the manager to make me a fresh pie for less!!!  They grow their own herbs on premise, so you can imagine how fresh and delicious this pizza was. Yes I finished it with my guy... can't let good food go to waste!!

Happy that I dropped into this place.

I pass this place everyday when I'm going home from work. One day I just said to heck with it I want some pizza! So they don't make regular slices... it's all personal pizza's and family style dishes. Okay cool. So I ordered  a regular cheese pizza just to test the waters. It was pretty awesome. Kinda wish I didn't share half of my box!

While looking at the menu, I was curious to see they had coal oven wings. Not hot wings (something that's kind of common in a pizza shop) So I asked the waitress how they were and she didn't recommend having them if I was looking for a different feel for wings. I said well okay.. I wont order them. So then she turns around and says I'll get you a free sample and you be the judge. Free sample of the coal oven chicken wings!!! Do I ever say no to free... Heck no!

So I had these wings and I actually liked them. They weren't your every day type of wing and I liked that. Sorry but I'm a foodie, and when I say foodie I like trying new things. This Is a Must Try!

I would def recommend this place. I really want to come here on a Wednesday when their happy hour is said to be amazing!!

Talk about seafood galore!!!!

We stopped by Ludlow to see what their Saturday night dinner was like, and boy were we happy!!!

Here we have our appetizer. It was a shrimp and lobster special. unfortunately they change their pizza special weekly so i can't request this again. All I remember from the description was that it had honey glazed shrimp and spicy lobster. The cheese might have been  mozzarella or something. Lord know... All I remember is chewing on my fingers after. LOL

Here was my dish. it's not typically on the menu (neither are the other two dishes) but if they ever decide to make it again, I'll show the chef this picture!!!. The pasta and the scallops complemented each other so well. I wish I had some right now actually!!!! :(

The Clam special was to die for also. It had a beautifully reduced pan sauce, with a nice hint of fresh parsley on a bed of angel pasta. the calamari was so decedent that I couldn't stop picking at my dates plate...

I definitely recommend going to ludlow Bistro out in Deer Park. You will not regret it. the waitress are cool and the service is wonderful!

The Best Pizza I have ever had!!!!!!!

A few friends and I went to this pizza place in Brooklyn. I was wondering what the fuss was about when they mentioned it a few times. It's in the heart of Williams-burg. The pizza I ordered  was a chicken pizzaAfter the first bite I was hooked. I was shocked how thin and tasty it was. My other firends had other pizzas, but I think mines was the best. If your in town you Hvae to visit Nice Pizza!!!

Happy Hour is always fun with a good ole friend. Especially when it involves a great deal.
TACO Tuesday's!!!

Below we have two taco's that you can dress any way you like. Freshly prepared, slowly cooked meat. My favorite one is the chicken one in the middle. I begged for more! The salsa had jalapeno's and fresh tomatoes, the lettuce and onions were fresh and the cheese was a great kicker. Loved everything about it. If you in the neighborhood on Tuesday go out and have a great taco!

The Pizza there is good. Second time having it actually... But you could add any topping you like for 50c, so we went out on a limb and had them put broccoli... who says pizza had to be unhealthy? Not I!!!

And we have beer! Blue Moon to be exact. A pitcher will run you only $8 bucks and if your not sharing it will last you a while.

I recommend this place for it's nice chilled ambiance and it's friendly wait staff! It's a must try!!!

Nothing is more precious then cooking at home for your family. I was bored on Saturday and decided to make pizza (I was also hungry).

Below is the store bough pizza dough, sauce that I made with fresh tomatoes, basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, sea salt, black pepper and a little bit of adobe. Now that was a small twist I came up with and I will explain why later.

I sprinkled Parmesan cheese and placed it in the oven for 20 minuets
I took the pizza out to add my chicken that I had left over from the night before. It was a little spicy but not overwhelming. The reason for a little adobe in the sauce was to help balance the kick in the chicken. I thought it was a good idea. I added it and put the pizza back into the oven
For added cheese I sliced fresh mozzarella cheese on top and placed the pie in the broiler for 5 minuets.
It took about an hour to complete this pizza but It was worth it.
Every one loved the pizza and i wish I made a bigger pie. It was only 12 inches and we all got a big slice and were still hungry lol.

It was a great experience and i loved it. Till next time happy eating :) !

I think We all know by now that I am a Happy Hour Fanatic!I think that is the best part of the day! This is one of my favorite places to go when I'm in the Rockefeller center area. The Happy Hour is priceless and unheard of. They change menu items quite often but who cares It is always good!

Below we have what my friend got which is Tuna BBQ. It was really good i had a bite and you wont believe that it was under $5 to get that!
Here we have a personal Chicken Pizza. It was for only that day because I have yet to see it on the menu again but It was Really Good!!!!

The Reason I come here is the Fish Taco!!! Holy Cow is it good And ONLY $2!!!!!. I always order 3 because one is a tease. The little salsa that comes with it you can do with out or add it for extra pizazz but it's up to you.
Below We have something you will not believe!.... This Burger and fries combo is only...wait for it...$2.95. I mean did they forgot the 1 before the 2 or am I in heaven and I've died happy lol. All jokes aside, This burger is that cheap and the taste is even better. You would not expect that coming from a seafood oriented restaurant.

The drinks that come with the happy hour are awesome also and make sure when you go to give a nice tip because they really deserve it over there.

I would not stir you wrong when I say this is a Must Try and Must See for your self place!!....

Till then Happy Eating!!
