Lobster Crab & Artichoke Dip

Sweet lobster and lump crab with artichoke, mozzarella and Fontina cheese, lobster sour cream, served with seasoned housemade tortilla chips

This was good, but it needed something, ike maybe salt or something.. outside of that it was good.

Bang Bang Shrimp
Crispy, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce.

This came out kind of cold.. We were trying to figure out why people raved about this... I wouldn't get it again.

Misoyaki Sea Bass
Grilled over oak, then topped with misoyaki marinade & pickle ginger relish, on a bed of sautéed spinach, mushrooms, jasmine rice

This was a really nice dish... It's something I would make at home, I might come back for this if they have it as a special again.

White Truffle Mac & Cheese

This was okay.. could not really taste the truffle, it didn't have a flavor really, it just looked really god coming out, but not going in....

Fresh Swordfish & Pumpkin Ravioli
Wood-grilled Swordfish with seasonal pumpkin ravioli, topped with crispy onions, crumbled feta and a hint of butter, complimented with a side of french green beans

My husband did not like this dish at all... it needed some type of love or something to it in order to make it taste even remotely good.

Our Drinks tonight were:
Signature Red or White Sangria
choice of Blackberry Red or Sparkling Mango White

We would go back, but nothing made us want to rush here before any other dinner possible night!!

When I was first told about the post office I thought to my self a place where you get or send mail right? Well no that wasn't the case. This place was a dynamite resort for fine dining and game watching! Lets talk about the food!!

They had an assortment of sauces I could have chosen for the wings, but because I was feeling in the Asian mood I went with the sweet chilly sauce! It was extremely delicious. Tangy, a little kick and then sweet. I was a perfect balance on the really well fried wings! I would definitely try the other sauces when I go back!

Some people say you can't mess up Calamari, those people are wrong. I've had bad Calamari in my day and I tell you this one was not bad, it was great!!!  The batter really makes or breaks a good Calamari and then the sweet chilly sauce being reinforced into this dish made me a very happy camper!

So I forgot to mention that I was sitting at the bar, and it was happy hour. The bartender highly recommended the southwest chicken egg rolls. I was on the fence, but I love anything fried in an egg roll! Who doesn't?  Took a bite and I called her over to thank her! It had chicken, black beans really good cheese and the aoli sauce on the side really made the dish whole. This is a must try if you go there!

Its bad enough I showed you more than one dish before this one. But do you really believe that my greedy ass would settle for just one dish at a bar? Hell no!!!  It was artichoke and spinach dip time!  Oh and there was beer in it too!!  Gluttony, no, pure indulgence,  YES!!!  The pita chips were nice and soft, and the nacho child were warm and salted. That with the combination of the dip. You have a happy marriage of flavors!

I love sweet potato fries, who doesn't? These assured me why!! Cinnamon dusted sweet fries with a cinnamon aoli on the side is just a recipe for greatness. Of course I didn't eat all this food alone. I was with my BF and we sure did enjoy our selves!

Now for the beer!!  I couldn't get a picture of all three beer flavors we had but let me just let you guys know. They do make their own beer and they do distribute other local brewery beers as well!!  We had their own pumpkin beer, which without the cinnamon crust really had a pumpkin taste. Not all pumpkin beers have that authentic beer taste. They did and I understand why it was a hot commodity. We tried their stout as well. It was really full bodied and gave you a bit of homey warmness going down. Then we had a dark IPA which was super super delicious. Hard to describe the flavors but it was out of this world.

This happy hour extravaganza was only $50 bucks. Mind you we had three beers each. Now tell me that's not a great bang for your buck!!! I highly recommend going here any night of the week! They have great food, great people, and great specials.

Till next time my friends!!!

Last night out on the town. It was a pleasure spending it with great people. But of course the food was even better!!!

Here we toasted our last free shot before we dug into out appetizer. It seemed like sex on the beach was the only free shot all the restaurants were willing to give...

Here we have an excellent spinach dip "creamy spinach dip
House made tortilla chips". It did not last more than 5 seconds before we all devoured. It was not your typical spinach and artichoke dip. It was fresh and light and that salsa was excellent as well. We all fought for the last bit of dip which I rose as victorious till the real food came along!!

Here we have one of my friends dish which was the linguine with shrimp. The fresh tomatoes and the shrimp went really well with the pasta. I wanted another bite but it I left him alone unlike with the plantain soup!!

Here was a dish I debated on trying and glad I didn't. It was the "Gnocchi Verdi ai Quattro for MaGGi Spinach & ricotta dumplings with four cheese sauce & roasted Parmesan tomato" The description sounds good but my friend wasn't pleased. I didn't get a chance to try it but she quickly traded her meal for something else. She was pleased with it and I didn't get a chance to get a snap shot of it. Sad that there was a Gnocchi in the world that failed! :(

Here was a dish my last friends had which was chicken and mushroom stuffed pasta. I didn't try it but she was in club paradise after the first bite. I was fully submerged in my dish that I didn't care to have a bite. Maybe next time i'll try it.

Here we have my dish. When I say this was the bomb I mean it!!!.It was linguine pesto. My whole entire stay in Miami has lead to this awesome meal. I was more than pleased with this dish and all dishes I tried. Nothing made more more happy the whole trip than to just eat and enjoy what Miami had to offer! I'd love to go back again soon!
