This was one of the Best lunches I ever had in Jersey!!!

I started off with a flight of their local beers. What I could remember, I had a local Pumpkin, a Pilsner, Don't remember or care for the Stout and the Chimay

Of the 4 I loved the pumpkin and the Chimay

Obviously I liked the Pumpkin a bit more!!!

Now for the food!!!

Here we have the Thursday special, and the main reason I walked into the place!! ( I held off eating lunch in the office to just get down here for this) I was not disappointed!!

What a great Brunch Date with my Fiance. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Nice and Light and fluffy Pancakes! OMG this was delicious... The candied oranges weren't too sweet and left a nice tangy taste to the maple syrup. I loved this dish a lot

I am making waffles this weekend I need to make this on my own and enjoy!!

Complimentary Belini!

The Belini was delicious, it was a peach one, but the juices tasted like grapefruit... I was not complaining, it was free and it kept coming!

Normally I would not write about a California roll, but these had REAL crab chunks in there. I mean Holy molly Really Crab in a California roll! I was in heaven... and we should have gotten another order!

More Drink Pics

Without the Bacon

This was a great Lobster roll. Extremely Big and I was really happy with the seasoning. Enough to share or big enough if your really hungry!

This picture doesn't justify the size of the roll!

I would Highly suggest going here and enjoying the heart of Times Square!

OH how i love visiting friends in the city on my off days, And today was the best visit yet. Being a  Pescatarian has it's down sides when it comes to eating out but when you find new items on the menu, you remember what it means to be a foodie!!1

They added Fish Tacos on the menu and boy oh boy were these bad boys good!!!!!. At $14 these bad boys packed a whopping flavor punch all in my taste buds! The tangy sauce, the great spice on the actual fish right down to the mango salsa on top! Now this wasn't my only order... I sure did order another one to goo... Couldn't keep this great experience to myself, I had to share it with my Boo of course!!!

Their Truffle fries are to die for! I don;t ever have to ask what else I need/ want with anything I order, the Truffle fries are mandatory at all cost. They have a really good truffle oil in that kitchen, so good I went looking for it and found a decent one to make these amaze-ball fries at home my damn self!!!

WELL Well WELL I highly suggest going here, and tipping the bartenders really well You hear!!! Never disappointing when I travel here! Till then

First off I'd like to say that this is indeed the cheapest lunch I ever had and really enjoyed it as well!!

Lunch comes with app, entree and drink who can beat that and it's all for a measly 7.99!!!

Here is there take on spring rolls and a little salad on the side! yummerzz

My thai Ice tea did not disappoint at all!

The start is the entree... I had their coconut rice with veggie panang... OMG that is was bananas I almost ordered another to go home oh man. What really intrigued me was the rice.... it was the best part yum yum yum

This is a nice hidden gem in times square. I highly suggest going here for lunch or happy hour!

Lunch with friends

First appetizer was this pretty cool rock shrimp tempura. I really liked it, thought that it was a great way to start off the lunch. Not the best I've ever had... but it does taste pretty good.

Rock Shrimp Tempura

Shrimp Veggie Roll

This was hinted to me that it was super good... Well in my opinion... it was okay... but I could have done with out it. I liked the rock shrimp better.

Salmon Teriyaki Lunch Bento

My bento box was cool... I opted to get the veggie rice because the picture looked so good... I ended up eating all the rice, shumai, and ginger and a little bit of the salmon,,, The salmon was pretty bland and I could not really understand why I chose this dish..

I hear this place has a really good happy hour... I might try it one day and see how that works out... till then I am still on the fence about this place.

THAI SHRIMP
$14
lightly fried tossed in buffalo or thai sauce

They just do not give you enough of this!
If I were the chef, I would add a few more pieces, better yet, I'd add these to the grilled cheese below... because that's my favorite lunch combo...

LOADED GRILLED CHEESE
$12
provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, arugula, tomato w/ fries

I could never finish the entire sandwich. However, I must say that this is a great dish to have for lunch. pretty affordable and great flavor... I love the crust that the bread has when you first bite into it... Yummy. It also holds up well if you save it for later... double yummerz!!!!

This is a nice place for eating lunch if you have the $$ to go there. I would rather say it's a better place during happy hour. I would also suggest Eating at the bar to guarantee better service.

Pan Seared Sea Scallops and Wild Mushroom Saffron Risotto

Great pub in the times square area. I wish the portion was a bit larger. I am really hungry after this. And for the price I expected more of something.
Service was okay, the server paid more attention to other things than her tables.
In regards to the food, the seared scallops were delicious. The risotto was astounding. Creamy and decadent. I really wish there was more on my plate honestly.
I would definitely go back for some more

A good Lunch on a warm November Work day!

Here we have an interesting Thai ice tea...what makes it interesting you might ask? Well... I swear they made it with coconut milk instead of evaporated or canned milk! It had a nice silky taste to it and was by far the best Thai Ice tea I've ever had In a while... Time to whip out my tea at home and recreate this masterpiece!!!

Crispy Spring Rolls
8
mixed vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce
This was really good,..... the Sauce had an acquired taste though, but still really good....what ever you've had before it's basically the same here!

The White Rice

Green curry ( gang-keow-wan)
green curry with eggplant, bell pepper, carrot and basil With Veggies!

I asked the waiter to add some ginger in this along with the veggies because I needed another layer of flavor... It came out like this and I was super happy!!!
I kid you not... I ate it all up minus the green beans and the mushrooms....

I would go back here for lunch... the only complaint is that the wait staff are hiding in the back... So you don't know if they want you there or not... Oh well Happy eating!!!

Yum Yum's other spot is pretty cool.

Here is the Thai Ice tea that I had. I really wanted a cocktail, but nothing was on special. That really sucked as I would have rather-ed ate at Yum Yum and had a drink there for cheap!! Oh well... this was a really good Thai Ice tea and I have no complaints about this.

For the first appetizer, I really miss coconut soup with chicken in it... so I tested the waters and asked for vegetables. It was the best suggestion I ever made!!! The veggies were fresh, and the soup was just divine... It was a bigger portion then that of it's other location.

The vegetable dumplings were really good. Nice sauce on the bottom and awesome veggies inside of it. The other appetizer options would have been great too if I ate meat... next time I'll go with a co-worker and see what they think of the food.

The Panang here is totally different. They added a huge chunk of pumpkin in the middle of the curry. It was very very good. Something different at a sort of chain made me feel really really good. I would def have this dish again.

The coconut shrimp was disappointing. It was just fried too long, or the oil needed to be changed. I could barely finish the dish, and yes I was hungry hence all that food. The flavor wasn't there for me either... oh well maybe next time.

I would def come back here again and try other dishes. Till next time!!!

Lunch alone at my favorite spot is quite relaxing.

Before getting a glimpse of what i had for Lunch.. peep the bill first. This is a lunch to truly remember... I love 9th Ave Hells Kitchen.

In this picture, We have three things. One is the frozen margarita that was only $5 as listed on the receipt. It was so delicious, strong, and cold! A perfect drink for the summer time, and a perfect price for lunch.

Along side the drink, I have two appetizers. One is a coconut milk soup, the other is chicken and shrimp dumplings. I could have chosen two other things with my lunch special, but these were my favorite ones. I really love the soup... any time of year, it just taste really good.. the dumplings were eh okay I guess....

My main dish was the Chicken Panang Curry. This was heavenly with brown rice. Not too spicy, as I love when it is.... and just the right amount of chicken and veggies to go along with it.

This has to be my most favorite lunch ever!!! I highly recommend going here!

I am as disappointed as disappointed can be. Why is this establishment still up is beyond me.

I passed this place a couple times on my way to and from restaurant on 9th ave. Never have I been disappointed with a restaurant in my life like this one.

On the way in... it took 10 minuets for someone to sit my co-worker and I down. He was eating lunch in the back, and ignoring other customers as well. (Really???)

We got our menus and both agreed that the corn sounded good. When it arrived it was war, as if it were sitting at the ledge for some time. It lacked flavor!!! I mean come on. Really corn with mayo and cheese has no flavor!!. Wheres my cayenne pepper? wheres the onion or something on this thing? Ugh what saved them was the small wedge of lime on the plate. Even still WTF.

For our Entree we had more hope... but that fell short when I got my dish. She ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. It had a spicy mayo that was anything but spicy. The avocado was nice but WTF no flavor again!!! She had to ask for salt and pepper for everything.....

I ordered the chicken enchiladas. Thinking a staple dish in't hard to mess up. Boy... I should have left after waiting 6 minutes to be seated. This dish was piss poor. The empty tables should have been an indicator that maybe this wasn't a great idea but I like to give places chances.... NEVER AGAIN

The whole dish needed something.... I didn't eat most of my food. I can't really describe how it was because I couldn't eat it...

I wouldn't go back here unless there is new management and a new chef. Please read reviews before venturing off to a few places. I've learned my lesson... but that's what this blog is here for!!
