First off I'd like to say that this is indeed the cheapest lunch I ever had and really enjoyed it as well!!

Lunch comes with app, entree and drink who can beat that and it's all for a measly 7.99!!!

Here is there take on spring rolls and a little salad on the side! yummerzz

My thai Ice tea did not disappoint at all!

The start is the entree... I had their coconut rice with veggie panang... OMG that is was bananas I almost ordered another to go home oh man. What really intrigued me was the rice.... it was the best part yum yum yum

This is a nice hidden gem in times square. I highly suggest going here for lunch or happy hour!

Let's try this place out

Bubble Tea

This was really good... I had the Melon and then the Thai ice  tea one... I love tapioca

Thai Ice Tea

They're Thai Ice tea is amazing... I love tea that have depth in flavor

Spring Rolls

These were good, not over stuffed and crunchy!

Chive Pancakes

I thought I wouldnt see these again any wherre... You just have to try them to understand what I mean... Just like Scallion pancakes are amazing... These are the bomb.com

Coconut Shrimp

I wish they gave a few more because we did share...but they were the Large shrimps and beautifully fries and drizzled with sauce

Vegetable Panang Curry

Their panang was pretty spicy... all the veggies I could ask for were in here

Veggie Fried Rice

This was my BF's dish and it was cool

Muscle Appetizer

This appetizer was a tease... If we didn't order entree's ... The appetizers here are really good

I would definitely recommend this place if you are available

AHHHHHHHHH

I found a great Thai place in Long island... if only you could see me doing the running man right now you'd laugh!!!

Green Tea Bubble Tea

This was a really good green tea drink. I haven't found bubble tea in LI and saw this and was blown away. You kind of get tired of the bubbles after a while and just want tea...

Thai ice Tea

This was so good we had 2 more of these each... I forgot about my bubble tea.

Chive Pancakes

Again another dish I don't find often in Thai restaurants, these are delicious. A great salty balance to it. Crispy outside, chewy inside... Oh how I love chives.

Spring Rolls

These spring rolls were light and fresh, mostly veggies and it was an amazing flavor combo with the fish sauce (not commonly used).

Coconut Shrimp Yummerz

There wasn't enough of these Shrimp on the table!!! We both had two each and wanted more. Nice big size Shrimp...but 2 more would have been good.

Steamed Muscles

These Muscles were colossal sized. I mean I wanted to take a shell and make a necklace out of it. That's how big they were. The broth was really nice, all the veggies in there really helped... It could have been a meal on it's own with some rice.

Veggie Panang Curry

My BF's dish was really good. Nice kick to it... but too much of a few veggies he didn't like...

Veggie Fried Rice

Not a fan... grat presentation, but it was a little bland. I had to stead a little of my BF's Panang sauce to put on my rice...

It was a really good experience here. i would def go back again and again, but not order all that food hahahahahaha.

Thai food in Lee Mass,

Let's get right to it!

We ordered a lot of food because we were hungry and my eyes are bigger than my stomach all the time.

GREEN CURRY With string beans, egg plants, red & green peppers, yellow squash, zucchini and basil leaves.

This was the veggie version and we liked it. Not spicy at all though and was really rich and creamy because of the coconut milk they used. Oh what a great dish it was!!!

SIAMESE FRIED RICE
Delicious fried rice with chicken, shrimps, egg, onions, snow peas, green pea, baby corns, carrots, sweet corn, tomato, scallions and cilantro.

This rice was good. Over whelmed with veggies this is a great vegetarian dish to eat.

Oh my my my... the Coconut shrimp was out of this world. The fresh coconut flavors, and the sauce was my favorite dish of all the ones we tried that day!!! I wish I could take that recipe back with me to NY

ROLL “J”Vegetarian spring rolls, delicate and crispy. Served with sweet-sour sauce

These Spring rolls were different from what I've been accustomed to and really enjoyed it. hands down the second best dish we tried here. Same sauce as the shrimp.

Vegetable Panang
Kind of disappointing to say the least. It was the most expensive thing they had and it came with no rice. My bill was mostly high  because of this dish (not a happy camper) We had to order and extra order of rice... (they thought the veggie rice was plenty rice) Did I mention I had a CARB love affair......

Thai Lotus Wine Yummerzzz

This was a really good glass of wine, and the funny thing is that they actually have this bottle in my local wine store (picked up a bottle on my way back home the next day)

Here's the Wine menu if you are interested in the name/brand of the other ones.

Their Thai Ice tea was on point as well.... cannot complain here either.

All in all, we were happy we found a place with decent food, our other options weren't very promising. We would def go back again, but might only order a few of what we had this day!!! Till next time!!!

Fresh Wild Salmon.

I cannot believe how good this came out. I made it with a curry turmeric broth with kale, swiss shard, onions, ginger, coconut milk, etc. The salmon took center stage and did not need the broth!!

What a difference it makes having wild salmon vs the farm raised salmon. Oh boy will I not have salmon unless confirmed it is wild and proven!!

On the Side is cilantro brown rice... we were in heaven I tell you!!!

Lunch alone at my favorite spot is quite relaxing.

Before getting a glimpse of what i had for Lunch.. peep the bill first. This is a lunch to truly remember... I love 9th Ave Hells Kitchen.

In this picture, We have three things. One is the frozen margarita that was only $5 as listed on the receipt. It was so delicious, strong, and cold! A perfect drink for the summer time, and a perfect price for lunch.

Along side the drink, I have two appetizers. One is a coconut milk soup, the other is chicken and shrimp dumplings. I could have chosen two other things with my lunch special, but these were my favorite ones. I really love the soup... any time of year, it just taste really good.. the dumplings were eh okay I guess....

My main dish was the Chicken Panang Curry. This was heavenly with brown rice. Not too spicy, as I love when it is.... and just the right amount of chicken and veggies to go along with it.

This has to be my most favorite lunch ever!!! I highly recommend going here!

Trying recipes of dishes I love to eat is a blessing.  So my favorite Thai dish is chicken Panang. Boy did I out do myself with this one!!!

I looked on line for several recipes and took bits and pieces from each and made it my own. That's the beauty of cooking!!!  Making things your own!!

I would definitely make this again. Maybe with chicken thigh and breast instead of only breast!

I know you guys know I love me some Thai food. However, I enjoy eating Thai with this birthday girl! For lunch maybe 2 times a week minimum, and we indulge our selves with anything Thai related, with a few Thai Ice teas to accompany our meals all the time.

For her BDAY we went to Reserve on 3rd ave. My BF and I were there first and was already happy with the Wine happy hour they had till 8. The menu options were a bit different from normal Thai restaurants and we wanted to try them out!

Here we have Curry Puffs.... if you indulge in Thai food you would know that these are pillows of heaven. The cucumber sauce that accompanied it was light and decadent I wanted another order...

The calamari was just how I like them. Lightly breaded and the two sauces on the side were the Bombbay (my bf's fave word) One was a spicy aoli and the other was the traditional sweet and spicy sauce. Both sauces were excellent!

Chive pancakes are made differently at all Thai places. Sometimes they are flat, square, thicker thinner... today we had the bun shaped ones and they were really good. A bit doughy for some, but perfect for me!!!

Something you don't see everyday is french fries and Thai in the same sentence. They accompanied these thick cute spuds with the same sauces as the calamari... and to think... I should have thought of that!!!! It was really really good!

Finally for the entree.... My BF never had chicken Panang so we both ordered the same dish. He really enjoyed it and so did I. I love the spicy creamy sauce and the tender chicken accompanied by the various vegetables in the plate. A honestly big win for me!

Along side with our happy hour wine.. we shared a bottle of this really sweet German wine. Highly favored among the table as well as the birthday girl. It was truly a really good night.

With all that food plus 8 other dishes, we only spent under $30 each plus tax and tip. Now tell me that wasn't a great meal plus a cheap one at that!

I am already looking for a date in my calender where i can have this experience again!

Happy birthday to my friend again!

Has to be Thai sensation in these streets!!!

Default appetizer with salad and chicken dumplings. It was delicious as well as free!

These Calamari were so good. The batter was light and airy. The sauce was sweet, spicy and tangy. I wanted more once the dish was completed but I had my entree coming asos I wasn't greedy.

Shrimp red curry
My friend ordered this. He liked it a lot. I had a bit and thought It was a not too spicy.

Got the green chicken curry with some kick to it. My to go to dish by default is green curry chicken, this one was different from what I was used to. It was spicy ans just what the doctor ordered. It was a healthy serving for lunch. If I wasn't a Pig I'd have some for dinner.

I recommend this place! If it weren't so far I'd go here if Qi were too full. Oh well. Till next time!

The best Thai happy hour I've ever been to.

First drink of the night!  It was like a lemonade margarita... for just $5 bucks I was like hay give it to me as I walk in please!!!

So We decided to do the prefix dinner during our happy hour. Greedy on another level!!! for 16.95 you get a soup, salad, entree and desert. My friend opted for the spicy shrimp soup. It had a nice kick to it, but don't worry... you spice lovers this soup will do nothing to you but make you smile because it's really good!

So the chicken that I am... I opted for the coconut chicken soup. This has to be my favorite soup of all time here. It's so light and refreshing and decadent all at the same time! I can't really explain.. all I know is that I need a bigger bowl for the next time I go.

So in between our prefix dinner we have happy hour (I'm cheesing as I write this) This drink is called a coco mo. It's like a mix between a pina colada and a long island ice tea... if that makes any sense. I say Just try it!!!

My friend and I had two each!

With our drinks come free appetizers (this is where the greediness comes into play). Remember we have a prefixed dinner and each drink comes with an appetizer (except for the Margarita in the beginning... that was a special)

Spring rolls are another free appetizer we had... very good.

Green curry chicken is my staple for trying our a Thai restaurant. it helps me know whether or not this place is worth my business. And you've guessed it I was more than happy sinking my teeth into this creamy green broth!

Brown rice to stay healthy!

This was the combo that came with the prefix meal... the other pictures were separate from this deal ( yea I'm greedy I'll admit it now!)

My friend had the Thai basil sauce I liked it. It had a subtle kick to it with out loosing the freshness of the basil. After trying 3 spoons of her dish I wished I got hers (sorry Green Curry)

What better way to finish a happy hour than with " Green tea ice cream"

With all that food and drink we had a good time. What did the bill come out to? It was under $50. Split that between two people with tax and tip... I'd say that's a steal!!!

If your in the area I def recommend trying Yum Yum out!!!
