I love finding new places to eat in the city. Well Harlem any way. So we stumbled upon this place not knowing that the food would actually be really really good.

the calamari was a no brainer to order, but a good one at that. The sauce was a tamrine sauce and was very interesting. I preferred it with out and just a spritz of lemon juice but to each is own. It was fresh and had a nice season batter to it...

The side trio was a very good idea.

The spinach was my favorite. The fries were good but had a bit of too much salt on there, and the sweet plantains were okay at best. All in all the sides were cool.

The crab cakes were really nice. They had a little lump in them where you were able to distinguish between the filler and the meat... Yes I analyze that stuff and how! The chef did not disappoint here at all! Great apps.

We almost didn't order anything else until I said I was still hungry... there was three people at the table and the first few things were not filling enough!!!

So we got the Lobster mac and Cheese. Talk about presentation for days!!! By far the best presented mac and cheese I've seen thus far. Now to flavors..... The half lobster was steamed in salt water... I could taste that alone. The mac how ever, the lobster in there acquired a different spell in the bechmel sauce.
It was nice and cheesy and had the right amount of salt in this dish. I'd recommend this dish a thousand times. I love love love the presentation.

Now I know I don't eat meat... But couldn't have a picture of half wings in the photo above and not speak on it!!!

So my brother had the wings and he was blown away. If you've ever had Bon Chon wings you'd understand the soy garlic concept, however, they took it up a notch and had some type of BBQ glaze with a nice kick to it. He really enjoyed it as it was his replacement for the quesadillas i'm about to speak on.

He was not to fond of this dish. i can not speak on it, but was really happy that the chef himself came out and offered the wings that blew him away. his complaint was that the flavors were off... not sure what he meant but hey maybe I'll get a cheese one when I go back and yes I do plan on returning.

I would recommend this place... the only thing is the crowd that you'll see when there... the hostess are good and the atmosphere is interesting...all in all a good place to visit...

till next time!!

Graduating from high school is a milestone everyone gets through. We decided to celebrate my brothers graduation with a little Mexican brunch in Long island.

We tried the table side guacamole and asked that it had a little heat. It was nice and tasty and enough heat to say hello. This was a double, and to have people who don't like guacamole to like it after trying it from here was a win win!

My mom got the grilled chicken salad, and asked that a few items were left out. She wasn't too pleased with the chard taste that was left on the chicken, but she ate it any way.

My dad had the Steak version of the salad and asked that only steak and lettuce be on his plate. He too didn't agree with the chard taste of his steak, but ate the salad alone. I had a taste of it and thought it was fine.

My sister wasn't too pleased with the chicken quesadilla but I thought they were decent...

My dish I was more than happy to get. Chicken enchilada with green sauce! It was perfect chicken, to taco, to sauce ratio. I had the almond green rice on the side to accompany my dish. I was in a little heaven. Being in Long island for so long... it's not easy finding restaurants that have decent food I'm used to.

This chicken finger dish was for my niece. I mean the portion was a bit too much, but i couldn't help steal one whole finger from her. Surprisingly, it was flavorful and not dry. The fries were crispy and not oily... my niece enjoyed what she ate as well.

My brother and my guy both had the chicken mole. They weren't too pleased and stated it was an acquiring taste. I agreed. The chocolate after taste was a bit bitter, but with the rice on the side it worked kind of well. Would I have picked that if I'd gone back... NO

Now for the star of the day! Their mango cheese cake.... Next photo if you will

I think everyone at the table was fighting for a at-least a third or fourth bite. My brother had it and I wish we ordered it along side with him. It's a must try!!!

What we did order to share was the Tres leche. It was really up my ally. Not too sweet but yummy. perfect consistency and share able. the fresh fruit added a little bit of freshness to it as well!

I would try this place once again and give it another review. But until then I'd say go there and see what you think!

(Miami Time) Where it all began.... After a three hour flight who wouldn't want to visit the mecca of all tourist attraction in South Beach Miami. WET WILLIE'S. Home of the Call me a cab and Attitude adjustment. Below we have them both swirled into that awesome cup where you see how cold it stays!!.

Just look at the frost on that cup golly was it good. And not to mention strong but not overwhelmingly sweet nor alcoholic. Great drink to break into the weekend.

Along with the drink we were starving so we decided to see what this place had to offer in terms of food. Here was my friends chicken sandwich the Drunken chicken sandwich. It was good and the fries were awesome. Didn't really understand the drunken part but hey he enjoyed it.

I had this awesome Quesadilla, it was not your average quesadilla. This one had black beans (not sure how I remembered what I had) But it was awesome and I wish I had more.

Here was another sandwich another person had and I almost stole it from her. It was "citrusy" and flavorful and oh so yummy. It hit all the spots sour, bitter, sweet, and salty all at the same time. Even though the decorum did not fit the bill the food packed a punch!.

I'd highly suggest a place that was recommended onto me to everyone who loves to both eat and drink for less with more.

If your in town I demand you to visit there first or you wont enjoy the reason why your their in the first place!!!
