Well... what can I say... Aside from waiting over an hour and a half to be seated and have the worst service ever... the food is pretty damn good.

Below is their jerk wings, macaroni and cheese pie and coconut rice. Holly cow is it good. I just hate waiting for food honestly. But get there early and maybe you won't have such a biased opinion about their service.

LA DI DA, this was a really nice surprise. I didn't really think much of this place until I tried it, Now I'm counting on the days until I go there again!

Here we have a Mai Tai. It had to be the best Mai Tai I've ever had, and the color, although unusual, it was unique in it's own way!

We started with a chicken lettuce wrap. I had no idea what to do when this plate was placed in front of me. My date showed me that you had to put the meat mix into a lettuce, wrap it and enjoy. They make sauces for you and I tried it. It was so good. Light, not too heavy, and really really good.

Here is an okay picture of the MANDARIN CHICKEN. I loved it so much that I fought for the last bite, not that my date really put up much of a fight for it.

Yuzu ginger mojito was really light, but I kind of stuck to the Mai Tai as my drink of the night. It was a bit sweet for me and I thought it was okay for those who like sweet drinks.

For desert we tried the blueberry cheese cake. I liked it, and thought it was an awesome size after that meal. There was like this vanilla ice cream sauce drizzled over it, it was great!!!!

I might be the only person that hasn't tried this place or maybe I'm not. In any case, I def think this is a place to try!!!

If you've never been to Snack dragon then you are missing out.

I would have to say, the best taco's after a drunken night in the LES or maybe just a quick bite to eat, Snack dragon packs a whopping punch.

Below we have my first two taco's made my way.

The one on the top is a fish taco, fresh radishes, sole cilantro and an awesome blue corn tortilla.  The bottom is a quinoa cheese cilantro mix. And I must day, they were the bomb.com I'm just saying.
You need to get your hands on these bad boys!!

Now of-course we know that i never stop at just two items (my stomach wouldn't allow it) So of course I ordered a Johnny boy with chicken hold the beans.  Doesn't that picture just make your mouth water uh uh uh..

But hey, You guys really don't have to believe me you can check out the awesome reviews below.... till next time my treats... happy eating!

i can't get away from this place even if I tried. the staff is great and the food is even better! So my cousin and i decided to see what their brunch was like!

Here we have an awesome pink sangria. OMG was it good. I tried two but I think this one was my favorite!

The omlete was on point. You get to choose from a list of ingredients what you want, the home fries were great and that side salad had a nice light vinaigrette to it. Great way to start any day!

My cousin had the chicken sandwich. She too was satisfied with her meal. The chicken was seasoned well, and the fries had the perfect texture to them (I kept stealing a few after I finished my plate)

As if we weren't full from the above few things, we ordered a cheese cake. It was pretty good, no complaints, I mean could you really mess up a cheese cake though?

Here is the other sangria I was talking about. It was good, and I love red wine, but the rosay wine kind of had me speech less. You try both and decide which one you like most!

Like I've said before, this place is great! go down there if you happen to be in the area and try their awesome food!

What can I say, I'm a repeat offender! I love this place so much that it has made more appearance on my blog than me!
This was the Blood orange Saveur, and gosh was it good. my bartender in the background really hooked it up!

My cousin had the happy hour salad. I didn't try it but she said it was good. I recall her ordering this once before also.
This was a Apricot and Gin signature. I loved the balance of bitter and sweet in this drink. I hate sweet drinks and this one was a winner in my book!

Now for the food. The calamari was fried lightly, and that sauce it's pared with was divine! I can't say that a bout most calamari's I've had but it was really really good!

Our triage  of drinks included Rhum pumpkin creole, Cosmo my way, and the blood orange saveur
These were the fish and chips. Boy were they fresh and awesome. I loved the the tartar sauce it came with also, and believe me I hate tartar sauce from any where, so that says a lot!

I kid you not, you better bring your butt down there after you read this post!

I live out in Long island, and I'm not far from blue lagoon. i pass by it all the time. Then I got a restaurant.com coupon and decided what the heck..let's stop by.

Let's talk about Calamari. I never had Calamari like this. Fried to perfection, then  lightly dressed in a Szechuan sauce.... Holy mother of god was I debating on ordering another one!!!.
This dish can be shared or if your greedy (like me) it can pretty much fill you up with a glass of water and wine. You can also get this for only $5 during their happy hour 3-7 week days (I'm just saying)

Another smack your mama dish was the crab cakes. Real crab danced on my tongue and I marinated it with the orange- coconut spicy sauce on the side. Again another great dish on the menu available for happy hour prices. I highly recommend getting both!!!!

Here was a shared dish between my date and I. I'm not sure if the previous pictures justified the portion sizes but they were pretty hefty! Here we have the divers medley. Stuffed clams, scallops, huge prawns, seasoned vegetables, rice pilaf and a fillet of tilapia. I honestly wouldn't be able to eat all that by my self ladies and gentle man!  It was really light and refreshing and good. (not an item on happy hour but great if your really hungry)
I truly recommend coming here after work or on the weekend to take a load off. The staff is pretty cool and the decor is really refreshing!!

Talk about at first you do success!!!
So I was really anticipating making tikki Masala at home. I bought all the ingredients to make it in my slow cooker. I followed the directions as much as possible. Yet of course putting my own spin onto it. I then thought what goes great with tikki than naan. So I looked up a homemade recipe for that as well.
Everyone enjoyed it. Although I was a bit impatient with both the naan and the Masala. I couldn't have enjoyed it any more than when I finally waited for it to cool down and take a few bites.
I suggest looking for these recipes according to your convenience and try it. Its fool proof and darn right awesome.  Till next time keep eating!!!!!

Talk about seafood galore!!!!

We stopped by Ludlow to see what their Saturday night dinner was like, and boy were we happy!!!

Here we have our appetizer. It was a shrimp and lobster special. unfortunately they change their pizza special weekly so i can't request this again. All I remember from the description was that it had honey glazed shrimp and spicy lobster. The cheese might have been  mozzarella or something. Lord know... All I remember is chewing on my fingers after. LOL

Here was my dish. it's not typically on the menu (neither are the other two dishes) but if they ever decide to make it again, I'll show the chef this picture!!!. The pasta and the scallops complemented each other so well. I wish I had some right now actually!!!! :(

The Clam special was to die for also. It had a beautifully reduced pan sauce, with a nice hint of fresh parsley on a bed of angel pasta. the calamari was so decedent that I couldn't stop picking at my dates plate...

I definitely recommend going to ludlow Bistro out in Deer Park. You will not regret it. the waitress are cool and the service is wonderful!

I love this place. The ambiance, the people, they are all awesome. My favorite thing to get here aside from the drinks are the bento boxes.

Here we have a complementary green tea. Always helps kick start your metabolism!!

Here is our nicely plated Bento box. The Salmon is a great size. The shumai, avocado rolls, and rice are nice complements to this whole lunch venture. I am usually full after eating this. Then I can commence the drinking frenzy!!!  (Pictures coming soon!)
