OMG OMG!!! So when I was told that there was a place that made custom mac and cheese I had to see that all the fuss was about!!!

My BF saw the Nepoletana and had to try it. It had fresh Mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, and fresh basil. Yum! I had a few bites and fell in love!!! Kind of wish I had ordered it!

My S'mac was the Hearty Meat Eater! Cheddar and American cheeses combined with seasoned Ground Beef. I was really good, but after a while I got tired of it. I'm not a big beef eater so It was a bit overwhelming, however it was right on with the flavor.

I would recommend getting the sampler dish so you can try all of the S'mac dishes and choose which one best pleases your pallet. Other then that I highly recommend this place for those who love cheese and pastas and additions!!!

Happy hour at my favorite place is always a good time!!!

As soon as I walked in I asked for two sake bombs. Sorry for not having a picture but it was gone as fast as I ordered them. At $3 a pop of course they were gone in a blink of an eye. We had at least 4 each of them!!!

Now back to what we can visually see. I can remember the name of this drink. All I can remember was that it was delicious!!!

Tropical wings were okay. Not something I'd order again in a heart beat but it was worth a try in any case.

Steamed vegetable dumplings are my favorite!!!  They are very delicious, so much so that I might have to get me an order after writing this post!!!

The shrimp shumai like any other shumai are delicious. I was really happy that my guy really enjoyed this dish as well.

The main reason why I came here besides the shots! Was the Indian pancakes. Holy cow this is criminal!!!  Roti with a side of curry to dip it in. And to garnish is some sugar and carrots. Yes we had 2 orders of this beautiful thing. Man I want some now!!!!

To end our eating escapade, we got two rolls. One Philadelphia and the other shrimp tempura. Again another success story when it comes to having people trying new things.

I recommend this place wholeheartedly!!  Its great for hanging out or a romantic dinner. What ever your into, you've gotta give this place a try!!!

This was a chicken parm with sweet fries.. It was so much food I actually had left overs for the next day. I wasn't too crazy about it because I expected more from this place. Especially since I'm in love with their sister restaurant (Blue Lagoon).

I haven't had a root beer float in years, I think this was the highlight of my night!

This was a really good milk shake. Even though I had my root beer float, I kept drinking his shake!

Chicken caprese panini with a twist. It had grilled asparagus, grilled bell peppers and a thick layer of Swiss and provolone I believe. I was eating more of that than my dish!

This review is based off of their dinner and happy hour solely.

I had a $10 coupon that was expiring today and I just had to use it with my gal pals!

I started my night off with the Caracara special Frozen drink. Cost $11 and it was a big cup. I was a little upset that I got it and wasn't told I could have done the happy hour where I was sitting. When my friends arrived we changed that!

Here we have my new favorite drink that i have to try and make. Jalapeno cucumber margarita!  Doesn't it look delicious? Well it was and I wanted another one but I had another drink lined up!!

My last drink for the night, only because I kept drinking on an empty stomach, was their sangria. Now I had one of these right after the frozen drink, however, it seemed as though this one was a little bit stronger!

their happy hour drinks range from $5 to $10 depending on the drink. I'd highly recommend having all that I had!

I'm a creature of habit, and I know I know, your going to say... Why didn't you try something new on their dinner menu? Well it was because I was a bit overwhelmed and tipsy when I was looking at the menu... so I went with what was safe.... If you read the graduation post you know that I liked this dish... Well same ole same ole....

Now..... had I known that this would have tasted so good... I would have ordered IT. HOLY SMOKES BATMAN!!!!

Shrimp Tamale. My friend had it and one bite sent me for another one!!! Felt bad that  had my usual and was inches away from this master piece! Now I need to plan another visit just for this!!!

I would recommend going here definitely. Just try it!

Lets talk about steak deals for just under $25 on a normal day... right... unheard of... So why am I super excited about this one? Well it starts of with the amazing restaurant week deals that goes on twice a year in New York. You have a bunch of these great places that offers lunch for as low at $25 for a three course meal and dinner for $38

Here we have the bread you usually get at a steak house. I was amazed by how the bread pulled apart. I immediately tried to figure out how it was made. I like the pesto like oil on the side as well!

I never ate a salad with a fork and knife before, and thought that this was interesting. The dressing was really good, and I liked the home made feel the croutons had.

These frites were awesome. Nice bite to them, not too salty and paired really well with the steak!!!

I love skirt steak. I also liked the sauce that accompanies the dish. What can I say, it was good. Would I pay retail value for it... no... I'm glad that restaurant week has a deal like this for the experience.

I would recommend this place for their ambiance and presentation. I'd like to go back and try another steak...

I love seafood as well as happy hour (who doesn't) !

I checked in with foursquare and instantly got this beer

Instead of having the restaurant deal we opted for happy hour. All appetizers are half off and they have a lot of great options!

Buffalo shrimp. Omg. We saw these girls eating this and we instantly asked to get am order. It was totally worth a try.

Baked clams were so delicious. I got my cousin who doesn't like or better yet, never had clams tried it, and guess what .... she loved it!!  I like making people like what they never had!

This is a snip of their menu! Do you see the amazing amount of food at our disposal. I mean it's criminal for all those items to be on happy hour. Let alone be so damn good!

The king of all king items on the menu of course is lobster. Lobster rolls for $6. Get the bleep out of here. This order was seriously just $6. I mean can you tell I was hungry before snapping a photo? I was more than satisfied with this dish. Almost ordered another round. But we continued down the list of items on the menu

I like Calamari because everyone makes it. I like that it's usually readily available at most cuisines, what I like most about it is that most places have their own spin on it. This was lightly battered and the sauce had a mice tang to it. Amazing!

Surprisingly enough the lobster roll wasn't my favorite dish of the night. No, it had to be these bad boys here! Crab cake sliders. I'm not usually a crab fan, but these sliders dis something to me. I wanted them all and I really didn't want to share. Nothing new when I like a dish, but believe me, these were so damn good I wanted another order dammit and I regret not getting it :(

Last but not the least item was the lobster mac and cheese. What can I say .... it was good. But can we get back to the crab came sliders!!!!

I will definitely come back here again. Maybe alone because I want it all, maybe with a friend. Who knows ? We'll see ....

Birthday Picnic for my Boo

I love to cook, when I get the chance I take full advantage! So the theme for the picnic was Asian with a New American twist.

I love looking up recipes, here I made fire cracker shrimp. I made my own twist, but to get the recipe you  can check the link below.

Seared Scallop salad! This had to be my favorite because everything down to the dressing was home made. Yes homemade!!

This pie was to die for, unfortunately I can't have it any more because the awesome woman that makes these moves in a week!!! I will put my orders in for a few pies.

A bottle of Riesling and a couple fresh fruit and we have a marriage of flavors!!!!

I know you guys know I love me some Thai food. However, I enjoy eating Thai with this birthday girl! For lunch maybe 2 times a week minimum, and we indulge our selves with anything Thai related, with a few Thai Ice teas to accompany our meals all the time.

For her BDAY we went to Reserve on 3rd ave. My BF and I were there first and was already happy with the Wine happy hour they had till 8. The menu options were a bit different from normal Thai restaurants and we wanted to try them out!

Here we have Curry Puffs.... if you indulge in Thai food you would know that these are pillows of heaven. The cucumber sauce that accompanied it was light and decadent I wanted another order...

The calamari was just how I like them. Lightly breaded and the two sauces on the side were the Bombbay (my bf's fave word) One was a spicy aoli and the other was the traditional sweet and spicy sauce. Both sauces were excellent!

Chive pancakes are made differently at all Thai places. Sometimes they are flat, square, thicker thinner... today we had the bun shaped ones and they were really good. A bit doughy for some, but perfect for me!!!

Something you don't see everyday is french fries and Thai in the same sentence. They accompanied these thick cute spuds with the same sauces as the calamari... and to think... I should have thought of that!!!! It was really really good!

Finally for the entree.... My BF never had chicken Panang so we both ordered the same dish. He really enjoyed it and so did I. I love the spicy creamy sauce and the tender chicken accompanied by the various vegetables in the plate. A honestly big win for me!

Along side with our happy hour wine.. we shared a bottle of this really sweet German wine. Highly favored among the table as well as the birthday girl. It was truly a really good night.

With all that food plus 8 other dishes, we only spent under $30 each plus tax and tip. Now tell me that wasn't a great meal plus a cheap one at that!

I am already looking for a date in my calender where i can have this experience again!

Happy birthday to my friend again!

Pecan Pie!!
The holy grail of deserts is right here!!!  Thank God my friend shared her desert with me!!!  I would definitely recommend this one here!!

The appetizer platter!!!  Here are the to die for chicken fingers encrusted with corn flakes and other goodness. The fries have melted cheese, they come with bacon but I omitted them. The Calamari was super delicious without the sauce!!!  I will definitely get this whole thing for myself again!!!

Wednesday happy hour special are always changing. Unfortunately thy make dishes that you want again and again!!! For $5 I got this homemade gnocchi with shrimp in a Cajun sauce. Omg it was good!!!  If I didn't have the appetizer sampler I would have ordered a few more!!!

This drink right here is amazing! The hurricane is the main reason to visit Bourbon street!! At $5 a pop all day till 8 you have got to get your hands on one of these bad boys.

I see myself frequenting this place often. But don't just take my word for it! You must go there and try it out yourself!

Happy eating!!!
