My first time at Smith and Wollensky was a good one. Above we have what my friend had which was a pan seared salmon due to his vegetarian diet. I had a few bites and I'd have to say it was pretty good regardless of the fact that it was a dish served with no sides :(
We ordered a side which was a side of hash browns. It was OK but needed salt and pepper. It was pretty pricey for a side...

Here we are. My steak had arrived last. And it was bigger than my head. I had a few bites and it was really buttery and savory. I was over whelmed with joy. It was the first steak I had out side of my moms cooking and even though I am used to a little Caribbean feel to my meat this was actually two thumbs up. I could no way in hell finish the whole thing so i decided to bring the rest home and make it onto something. Post will we added once I figure something to make.

This has the be my favorite to go spots in the whole NYC Mid Town area.

Here we have my favorite appetizer in the whole world. It's called and Indian Pancake. It's fried dough with a small bowl of curry with sugar on the side. The carrot garnish is awesome ans fresh also. At only $5 I get two orders for myself, and if I'm with a group of people i usually order 3.

Here are spring rolls. They are not your average take out menu spring rolls. These have a unique sauce that just has the right tang and saltiness that just melts in your mouth, This a a must try.

My friend had the Salmon Teriyaki for his entree. It came out on a sizzling tray which was cute. The smells were really pleasing to the senses. I had to get a taste of his entree and I was satisfied for his choice, LOL I usually scold my friend for having poor dinning choices when we go out.

There were of course saki bombs for happy hour and for $3 a pop we had more that 4 I believe but whose counting any way! They give you a nice buzz but after a few you kind of want a nice cold beer to satisfy the tease that these mini ones left in your mouth.

And last but not least we have these amazing vegetables dumplings. The sauce was to die for and the vegetables were tender but had an awesome bit to it. We had another order to share. It was really good. Nothing to really complain about this place besides the fact I never want to leave lol.
