I would def come back for lunch, dinner, when I'm bored, Oh yea If you have a crossroads card even better! They take 10 Percent off your entire bill. For a table of 8 We ended up paying on $22 each with tax and tip included. And boy it was a lot of food. I love family style resturaunt. I love the concept of sharing food at the table. But when I .und out about!!! this place, I was excited. It was way better tasting than Carmines by Far!!!

Here we have the Chicken Parmesan. Oh My good Was it good. To cook it so perfectly in this size takes skill. I was Floored by the sauce to chicken to cheese ratio. We had two orders of this! A def thing to try here.

Here we have the Mushroom braised Sirloin dish. Oh my god was this really food. It was a special that day. I normally don't eat a lot of beef in one day but I went back for more, and more, and more. We had one order of this and it was plenty .

A side of Spinach with Garlic never hurt no body!. I loved the toasted flavor of the garlic and the fresh not weltered taste of the spinach. They had me at Hello!!!

This was the Friday special. Black linguini with seafood! Salmons, clams, muscles , calamari, oh the works ! we had two orders of this beauty!

This has to be my favorite go to place for happy hour. Nested in the heart 34th street you can not go wrong stumbling into here.

I'm sorry about omitting drinks in this  post, they were gone as soon as they hit the table (yeah, that kind of day)

Here we have a delicious order of wings. I must say, in my Chinese chicken wing eating experience, something about these wings are bewitched! I killed this order on my own, and usually so with a sidekick of scallion pancakes below...

These have to be the best scallion pancakes. I have made these at home, and let me tell you, they didn't even come close to how flaky and decadent these are. I've had scallion pancakes all over midtown, but non have the tenacity as this one upholds (yeah that was deep)

Now, for my guilty pleasure (fried vegetables) their vegetable spring rolls. I love these things, and no matter how full I am, I always indulge in at least one order of these bad boys. They also help with the guilt of knocking back a few cocktails...

They have happy hour from 4-8 and their drinks (all type, not limited to well) are just $4.50. tell me a happy hour cheaper then that!!!!

Definitely stop by and enjoy!

I think Calamari is my new go to appetizer. it's like the beta test before I figure out if the entree will be good or not. I'm usually right and was happy that we ordered these. I love different types of aoli's and when a place does it right they deserve recognition! It was some type of herb lemon aoli that blew me out the water. I'd def have this again!

Now for the entree. Do you see the size of this thing? It's the size of two heads I swear. I love chicken Parmesan and they know what they are doing. The pasta was aldente as it  should have been and the sauce to pasta ratio was excellent. Need I say more?

My guys dish was the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. The shrimp were more like prawns. Nice healthy size creatures that were packed with flavor. Yes I'd
order this when I venture back...

I never had peach cobbler before and i wondered why after my first bite. It was warm and chewy and crunchy and sweet and cold all at the same time. Now I'm not a huge fan of sweet treats but this is on the list of things I'd def eat again and again.

In all honesty, I'm not a big chain restaurant eater, but this one I really recommend visiting!

Oh how I love good Mexican food!!!

We were celebrating my brothers graduation from High school. I was in charge of finding a place that he would enjoy!

We ordered a pitcher of Peach Sangria and it was really good. The fruit had all the liquor of course. My brother enjoyed it but he was taking a bit too long to finish a cup while I was on my third....

Now for the food!

My sister ordered the chicken Quesadilla because she's not a big fan on Latin food and thought it  was safe. She wasn't really feeling it. So of course I can't let food go to waste!!! so i took some and devoured it while I waited on my order to arrive!

Table side guacamole was the bomb.com

To be able to convince non-avocado eaters to try this was hard...what wasn't hard was for them to actually enjoy the dang thing!!!! It was seasoned nicely and a bit spicy. I enjoyed it and kept scraping the bowl for the rest to come out!

My niece had the chicken finger. I don't know a 4 year old that would call those big pieces of chicken fingers.... But they were exceptionaly flavored and really good

My Brother ordered the chicken mole. Which sounded really good. I wasn't really too interested with it and neither was he. I guess it's more of an acquired taste than anything. He ate it all though ..

My dad had the steak salad because there was nothing on the brunch menu that tickled his fancy! When it arrived he was more than disappointed. The steak was a bit chewy and chard a bit too much. I had to agree with him. He didn't want to return it so he just ate the salad.

My Mom got the chicken version of the salad and she was okay with it. not happy just okay to have something to eat after a long graduation ceremony.

Now for my dish that I actually really enjoyed. you can't go wrong with ordering a regular chicken enchilada
with green sauce. I shared very small sections of my dish with my BF and brother only because they weren't feeling their dishes so much.

Let them eat cake! they said . yes let us eat cake!!! The trese leche was dabomb.com. It was so decadent that I at first didn't want to share the awesomeness of the desert, but it's a pretty big desert so i said what the heck...you can have a small morsel! Everyone thought it was really good, but unfortunately we ordered one!

last but not least! My brother got the best desert that's not on the menu! That's right! In addition to the desert menu there was the mango cheese cake. Why didn't I just order that?????? Luckily my brother wasn't like me and shared most of it as soon as he got it. I will be coming back for this cake again!

What I liked about this place was the great customer service and honestly good food in my opinion. If you asked my parents and siblings they'd give a completely different review. Would I go again yes...with out them of course. They also offer reward cards...who doesn't like eating with a discount? Certainly not me!!
So if your in the Farmingdale area in long island and you have a feel for Mexican done right ... I'd def recommend this place!

Graduating from high school is a milestone everyone gets through. We decided to celebrate my brothers graduation with a little Mexican brunch in Long island.

We tried the table side guacamole and asked that it had a little heat. It was nice and tasty and enough heat to say hello. This was a double, and to have people who don't like guacamole to like it after trying it from here was a win win!

My mom got the grilled chicken salad, and asked that a few items were left out. She wasn't too pleased with the chard taste that was left on the chicken, but she ate it any way.

My dad had the Steak version of the salad and asked that only steak and lettuce be on his plate. He too didn't agree with the chard taste of his steak, but ate the salad alone. I had a taste of it and thought it was fine.

My sister wasn't too pleased with the chicken quesadilla but I thought they were decent...

My dish I was more than happy to get. Chicken enchilada with green sauce! It was perfect chicken, to taco, to sauce ratio. I had the almond green rice on the side to accompany my dish. I was in a little heaven. Being in Long island for so long... it's not easy finding restaurants that have decent food I'm used to.

This chicken finger dish was for my niece. I mean the portion was a bit too much, but i couldn't help steal one whole finger from her. Surprisingly, it was flavorful and not dry. The fries were crispy and not oily... my niece enjoyed what she ate as well.

My brother and my guy both had the chicken mole. They weren't too pleased and stated it was an acquiring taste. I agreed. The chocolate after taste was a bit bitter, but with the rice on the side it worked kind of well. Would I have picked that if I'd gone back... NO

Now for the star of the day! Their mango cheese cake.... Next photo if you will

I think everyone at the table was fighting for a at-least a third or fourth bite. My brother had it and I wish we ordered it along side with him. It's a must try!!!

What we did order to share was the Tres leche. It was really up my ally. Not too sweet but yummy. perfect consistency and share able. the fresh fruit added a little bit of freshness to it as well!

I would try this place once again and give it another review. But until then I'd say go there and see what you think!

Catch NYC

Great food Horrible service...

A few of my friends and family went out to celebrate a friends birthday. We were super excited to try this seafood spot.

Here we have spicy shrimp that was out of this world. We fought for the last piece. I wasn't victorious though lol.

These were the scallops that had some type of pesto on them. OMG were they good. I only had one and now I regret it. Oh well.

These lobster rolls were amazing. So fresh and decadent that we had another order at the last minuet. I
I'm salavating over this picture right now

Here was the lobster pasta. it was really good... so good I snuck a fork or two in before taking the picture... luckily my friends stopped me from devouring it whole!

Truffle fries!!! need I say more?

I'd go here for the food... and not for the service... other then than it's a 50/50 in my book

Go at your hearts content!

Happy that I dropped into this place.

I pass this place everyday when I'm going home from work. One day I just said to heck with it I want some pizza! So they don't make regular slices... it's all personal pizza's and family style dishes. Okay cool. So I ordered  a regular cheese pizza just to test the waters. It was pretty awesome. Kinda wish I didn't share half of my box!

While looking at the menu, I was curious to see they had coal oven wings. Not hot wings (something that's kind of common in a pizza shop) So I asked the waitress how they were and she didn't recommend having them if I was looking for a different feel for wings. I said well okay.. I wont order them. So then she turns around and says I'll get you a free sample and you be the judge. Free sample of the coal oven chicken wings!!! Do I ever say no to free... Heck no!

So I had these wings and I actually liked them. They weren't your every day type of wing and I liked that. Sorry but I'm a foodie, and when I say foodie I like trying new things. This Is a Must Try!

I would def recommend this place. I really want to come here on a Wednesday when their happy hour is said to be amazing!!

Great tasting crab cake I have ever had!!! It had real big lumps of crab, the mango chutney type combo on top was amazing, and the aoli on the bottom was phenomenal.

Salmon with herb Risotto, shaved fennel,  peppercress salad. Oh my gosh!!! This is why I love food. Yes i did salmon twice on this trip but who cares.. I ordered it at a steakhouse because it's not always about the darn steak. I am super happy that I did. Now of course I had a bit or two of steak from the other ladies but that's besides the point. This salmon was knock your socks off good!!!!

I'd go here again for the crab cake in a heartbeat!
