Asparagus Risotto with honey glazed salmon!

I am so so so happy to share this dish with you guys. I must first admit that the risotto was from trader joes in the frozen section... great shortcut for the work week to have such a decadent treat! The Salmon I made however, in an over,  on a very high heat to caramelize some of the honey/ brown sugar that I added to the marinate.

Other ingredients on the salmon include, oregano, micro greens, scallion garlic, cilantro and soy sauce. I might just make this dish again next week!!!

- Vegetable Spring Rolls

Some were eaten by me but not all.....

This was super good!!! I asked for more... the surprising kick was that it had pineapples in the dish that gave a twist to any curry dish I ever indulged into.

Seared Tilapia In Red Curry $23

This was one of my friends dishes. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful. I liked it and so did she!!!  can't really critique much on it though.

Plantain Kofta Curry $20

Green Plantain & Homemade Paneer Dumplings,
Creamy Onion & Almond Curry

This was my dish... OMG was this good. So good I got full saved it and had it for breakfast the next day... OH yes I DID do THAT. Curry sweet plantains is unheard of but they did it here with finesse, I mean flavor town all day!!!!

I have to go back to this place and try other dishes. Indian is one of my to go to cuisines and have yet to be disappointed.... Till next time!!!

THAI SHRIMP
$14
lightly fried tossed in buffalo or thai sauce

They just do not give you enough of this!
If I were the chef, I would add a few more pieces, better yet, I'd add these to the grilled cheese below... because that's my favorite lunch combo...

LOADED GRILLED CHEESE
$12
provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, arugula, tomato w/ fries

I could never finish the entire sandwich. However, I must say that this is a great dish to have for lunch. pretty affordable and great flavor... I love the crust that the bread has when you first bite into it... Yummy. It also holds up well if you save it for later... double yummerz!!!!

This is a nice place for eating lunch if you have the $$ to go there. I would rather say it's a better place during happy hour. I would also suggest Eating at the bar to guarantee better service.

Pan Seared Sea Scallops and Wild Mushroom Saffron Risotto

Great pub in the times square area. I wish the portion was a bit larger. I am really hungry after this. And for the price I expected more of something.
Service was okay, the server paid more attention to other things than her tables.
In regards to the food, the seared scallops were delicious. The risotto was astounding. Creamy and decadent. I really wish there was more on my plate honestly.
I would definitely go back for some more

A good Lunch on a warm November Work day!

Here we have an interesting Thai ice tea...what makes it interesting you might ask? Well... I swear they made it with coconut milk instead of evaporated or canned milk! It had a nice silky taste to it and was by far the best Thai Ice tea I've ever had In a while... Time to whip out my tea at home and recreate this masterpiece!!!

Crispy Spring Rolls
8
mixed vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce
This was really good,..... the Sauce had an acquired taste though, but still really good....what ever you've had before it's basically the same here!

The White Rice

Green curry ( gang-keow-wan)
green curry with eggplant, bell pepper, carrot and basil With Veggies!

I asked the waiter to add some ginger in this along with the veggies because I needed another layer of flavor... It came out like this and I was super happy!!!
I kid you not... I ate it all up minus the green beans and the mushrooms....

I would go back here for lunch... the only complaint is that the wait staff are hiding in the back... So you don't know if they want you there or not... Oh well Happy eating!!!

After a nice day at the Guggenheim, why not indulge on the restaurant on the main level of the museum and see what i's all about!! Shall we!

From the list of things.... there were many options available for us to choose from....not to mention a lot of items on the menu was already sold out. I peeked over to my right and saw a few people eating a taco and was really interested why they all chose it!

Beer-Tempura Codfish Tacos, Ancho Sauce, Avocado, Greens, Fresh Lime 18

Well here is my review...
The pickled onions really added a twang to the taco... The avocado was not really apparent, but the overall taco was a success in my book. That dark concoction on the plate was not tried because the taco stood well  on it's own.

P.S. This was from the brunch menu... I'd love to see what the other menus taste like! Till then happy eating.

Wow What a great place to find and spot good food...and guess what! Complimentary WINE for an hour.... I'd say it's a gold Mine!

Here we have Truffle fries, they were okay...the aoli on the side was good, could have used a little bit more truffle though.

Buffalo Mozzarella
12
Sun dried tomatoes, basil, evoo
We really liked the pizza. Talk about a thin crust. We wish we ordered two of these because it was done within seconds.  This would have been a better option to double up on and not waste time on the next dish....

Thai Fried Shrimp
14
Sweet chili lime sauce
The Shrimp was cool... We didn't think that the price fit the dish.... It was well over priced and wasn't that much to share. Not sure if I I would get this again...

And the Complimentary Wine guys!!! Yes free wine from 5 pm-6 pm. They do a rotation of a red and a white during the week. Great way to Sample a new wine a week I'd say. Inside of a snazzy hotel, I bet the rooms are as amazing as the lobby is. I would Love to go back and just watch the fire place and a have a few wines along with it.

I would recommend this place and have people try their dishes. i', not sure how the Lunch is set up... I might go in on a pay day to see what my Dollar can get me.... Till next time... Stay snazzy!

Creamy Shrimp Pasta linguini...

This Dish was requested by both my niece and sister who didn't really want to partake in the free buffet that was going on this Friday evening. When it came out my niece immediately said eww green... Then she tasted it and was like oh yummy this is so good.

I Tried it and was really amazed at how rich in flavor it was. Unfortunately there was a hair in the mix.... Then we got the manager to bring out a new one... which unbelievably tasted better than the first one! Go figure...

Truffle Mac & Cheese

By far... the best mac and cheese I ever had with truffle in it! Everyone at the table wanted some! I was like No no no no no!!! But the I gave in and let everyone same a bit... I will def get this one again when I have a chance!

Lobster Ravioli

Now for the Restaurant week part of the meal! This was the entree... the Appetizer didn't make the shot because it was gone before it hit the table... We had Thai Calamari which is really good and it's only 5 bucks on the Happy hour menu.

The lobster ravioli's were like little pillows of happiness. My BF and I share this meal because I didn't want anything else on the menu...Boy did we want to get another bowl!!

Pumpkin Bread Pudding

I'm not a fan of bread pudding... so my review might be biased... but my niece who is so cute and smart tried it... and said " oh that taste like pumpkin toast from school". I said yes that's exactly what it is... she and my bf enjoyed it... I had another cocktail...

I would totally recommend this place because I've invited countless amount of friends for a round or two of drink here on Fridays. If your in town I would def check this place out!!

Ludlow,

One of my fave places to frequent on the island.

Special Pizza of the week...what can i say all their Pizzas are delicious here.... they never repeat so that's a douzy but you will never go wrong with what they come up with.

This was a shrimp with spinach, cheese and goodness all smacked into a thin crust pizza.

Special Red Snapper on a bed of risotto

I died and went to heaven.... I need the chef to come and cook for me every day!!
So creamy and light, fresh and warming...this is what you call comfort food.

Go there if i bet you a great time and good food while your at it!!!
